FAQ
What kind of work do you take on?
I primarily work in imaginative realism, focusing on characters, creatures, and storytelling-driven work for books, TCGs, tabletop games, and private commissions. New ideas are always welcome, feel free to reach out via the contact page.
What techniques do you work with?
I work in both digital and traditional media. Graphite and oil painting are my preferred traditional techniques, though I enjoy exploring a wide range of materials. I also take photographs and use Blender to create 3D references for more complex compositions. If a specific medium is envisioned, I’m always open to adapting it to suit the project.
How much does a commission cost?
Pricing depends on the scope, detail, and how the artwork will be used. Most projects fall in a mid-range budget, but I’m happy to work with smaller budgets for personal commissions when possible.
What’s your process like?
I start with rough sketches to explore ideas, refine the best options for client review, and then develop the final piece. I’ll keep you updated at key stages for feedback. A closer look at the process can be found on my Youtube channel, where parts of the workflow are occasionally shared.
How long does a project take?
Timelines vary depending on complexity, but most pieces take between 1–4 weeks. If you have a specific deadline, let me know and I’ll do my best to accommodate.
Do you offer revisions?
Yes, there are a couple of revision rounds included during the sketch and refinement stages. This helps ensure the final piece meets expectations.
What will I receive at the end?
You’ll receive a high-resolution digital file (usually PNG or JPG). Other formats can be arranged if needed. For traditional pieces, shipping or handoff details can be discussed.
Can I use the artwork commercially?
That depends on the project. Personal commissions are for private use, while commercial use (like publishing, branding, etc.) can be arranged and may affect pricing.
Do you take on small or personal commissions?
Yes, I do when my schedule allows. If you’re working with a smaller budget, feel free to mention it, I’m always happy to see if we can make something work.
Is there a place to see earlier or older work?
For those curious about the evolution of my work, earlier drawings from my teenage years can still be found on my DeviantArt.
What inspires your work?
Art has been my greatest passion since childhood. My fascination with fantasy began in my teenage years playing Guild Wars and Magic: The Gathering, and later grew through books, comics, and films. Photography started as a tool for collecting references, but it soon became a passion of its own and now plays an important role in shaping composition, mood, and lighting. A selection of personal favorite photographs can be found on my photography page.
Do you offer teaching or mentorship?
Teaching and mentoring are available. Profiles on dedicated platforms will be set up in the future, but in the meantime, direct contact is welcome for any inquiries.
Do you use generative AI in your work?
No. All my work is created without the use of generative image AI, and projects involving its use are not taken on.
How do I get started?
Send me a message with a short description of your idea, any references, your timeline, and (if you have one) your budget. From there, I’ll get back to you with the next steps. The contact form is available here
